Whit Balliett

Whit Balliett is a therapist specializing in individual, group and family therapy, and addiction intervention.   He maintains a private practice out of Southbury, Connecticut.  He works with young adults, adults, and families and has clinical experience in crises intervention and case management, intervention and advocacy.  Since 1993, he has worked with individuals suffering from mental health disorders, family conflict, trauma and addiction.  Whit utilizes a variety of approaches to empower individuals, and families to overcome the burden of conflict, loss, mental health instability, trauma, suffering and addiction.  Whit works closely with local treatment facilities and psychiatric practitioners throughout Connecticut and the Northeast.  Whit is dually licensed to practice both as a mental health specialist and addictions professional.  Whit provides Recovery Coaching and in-home Addiction Intervention.
